Since being in the Wealthy Affiliate Forums, for over three years,  I’ve noticed a trend from people who’ve hit it BIG. Typically they start asking questions then seem to disappear for a bit and return to ask a few more questions…  Then there’s a very enthusiastic post.

This post usually contains something mushy gushy or an event.  But there’s a hidden nugget, and I want to share how I found out about this, because it’s really important.

Within their posts and progressions is a blueprint to success. Kyle and Carson ( The creators of Wealthy Affiliate University ) know this and have made the forum search friendly. You can look up specific subjects, words, and usernames. It’s an absolute gold mine and SO many members overlook this feature.

BUT these posts are absolutely without a doubt life changing events because if you backtrack the posts you’ll uncover new ways to make sales. When searching terms, exact matches, and usernames. This will uncover the hidden gold Like:

• When Jeannie’s eyes locked onto Travis’s with admiration, love, tears and unbelievability. (Travis was free from grinding it out for the man.)

• When Jen (PotPieGirl) wanted to put an image of a brick wall on her first product launch. ( She felt stuck and then WA led her to her first six figure no adspend year )

Confusion And Get You Back to Profitable Actions

Have you ever been stuck trying to market to an audience, doing something that just isn’t working, or even worse wondering…  what to do next?

Most of us have, and that’s ok, because that’s how we learn. But wouldn’t it be nice to be able to have an instant resource, at your fingertips, to unstick those stuck moments?

Almost all the people I’ve partnered with in WAU have been excellent joint venture partners. An easy way to find a great partner for your business or someone who has a strength that would profit a campaign, is by reading the tutorials, then contacting that member. A lot of folks overlook using the tutorials to look for members who are experts and can help them by partnering up.

When used in that way it’s a no brainer. If I were to do it all over again, I’d learn the fundamentals and hire the experts to do the specifics. The tutorials are full of experts, unfortunately many members overlook using the resource in that way.

Doing just that has worked out extremely well for me, and I’m glad I got to share that nugget with you.

Tools To Hone In On Profits “Wealthy Affiliate Is Full of

Them” Take a Peek

Using the keyword tool to unlock a profitable niche in under

30 seconds.

After logging into the keyword tool I start with a broad term, this one was “bird”.

I then browse the results and dig one that looks profitable.

There’s a metric on the top and right that you can’t see, so I’ll expand the view a bit.

These metrics give you a quick view of the competition, either article marketing or paid marketing. They also give you the ability to dig further on a term and to spy on your competitions PPC ads.

Not only can you spy on your competitions ads, click through to their ad page, ( at no cost to them ) you can save the results. So a day, week, month, year later… you can run that term again and compare what ads pop up, what they say and more importantly see the ads that are still there.

If their still there, after a month,  they must be making money! This is a quick way to gauge, real proven,  profit potential.

After viewing the ads and guaging the niche term “birds hitting windows”  it doesn’t really make me salivate with profit potential… so I’ll move on.

Then I hit something a little more interesting.

“bird stands”

As of this moment “birdstands.something“ was  available and the traffic is more than enough to pay an average mortgage.  If you use it right. I won’t buy it, I’ll graciously leave it for someone else. After all it took me a whopping 20 seconds to uncover.

Nope! I bought it, and I’ll use it as a case study for those who purchase WAU under me. Thank you WAU keyword tool!

If I couldn’t get a .com .net or .org I’ll then look into Google suggests for additional ideas.

After I find out what the niche audience really wants I’ll then pick a URL.  I use GoDaddy because I like their interface, but any URL service would work.

Support: Been There Done That! There’s No Substitute For

Experience

I remember my first question to Kyle.( You can choose Kyle or Carson through the PM system, I just chose Kyle… dunno why, just did ) I simply asked him how my site looked and if I was on the right track. This was one butt UGLY site now that I look back.

But! Kyles response and what he told me to do in the first fold of that site, paid for my entire year at WAU within a week! Within that month I had my first $100 day. You just can’t substitute experience.

I remember when I first started WAU there were annual $1,000 and $500 campaign contests. The most improved affiliate would win the prize.

Now there are annual Skyloft Las Vegas trips with conferences for super affiliates. When you win the Vegas trip you get a mastermind session with other super affiliates. It’s like Travis said ” One idea spurred from this meeting had the potential to make an additional $10k a month with very little effort. ”
